Job in Assam

1. Forester-I:
   • Number of Posts: 84
   • Age Limit: 18-25 years as of 31.01.2024
   • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent
   • Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs. 14,000-49,000/- + GP Rs. 6,200/-
2. Forest Guard:
   • Number of Posts: 330
   • Age Limit: 18-25 years as of 31.01.2024
   • Educational Qualification: HS or equivalent
   • Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs. 14,000-49,000/- + GP Rs. 5,600/-

Other Criteria of BTC Kokrajhar Recruitment

1. Residency Requirement:
   • Candidates applying for these positions must be residents of the BTC area.
2. Age Relaxation:
   • Upper age relaxation for different categories:
     • OBC/MOBC: 3 years
     • ST/SC: 5 years
3. Application Fee:
   • Eligible candidates applying for the mentioned posts need to deposit a Treasury Challan or an Indian Postal Order (IPO):
     • General, OBC, and MOBC candidates: Rs. 150/-
     • SC and ST candidates: Rs. 100/-
   • Treasury Challan:
     • The Challan must be paid in favor of the Principal Secretary, BTC, Kokrajhar.
     • Payable at the Kokrajhar Treasury Office under the Head of Account: 8443 Civil Deposit, Personal Deposit, BTC.
     • Only the challan paid at the Kokrajhar Treasury Office will be accepted.
   • IPO (Indian Postal Order):
     • It must be paid in favor of the Member Secretary, CSB, Kokrajhar.
     • Payable at the Kokrajhar Head Post Office.
